No, I'm not lying, not even exaggerating. There was an actual fight in my store tonight. Two grown women, one with what may have been either little cousins or little sisters, decided to bicker at each other when one cut the other in line.

Oh, big whoop. e.e It's just coffee, people. And you know what? Being cut off in line is not the end of the world. There's more important things to worry about.

That's what most of us would think, right? These two not only bickered and shouted at each other at the register over it--to which I asked them to calm down, or I'd make them leave the store--but once one got her drink, she shoved the other in passing and the next thing we know, they're screaming at each other, pulling hair, beating each other with their purses... I'm surprised they didn't break our stuff.

So, we called security while some random big guy came in and broke them apart (just like in the movies, ironically) and one of our regular customers followed one family and pointed them out to the security guards, while my shift supervisor made the other stay.

How embarrassing must it be to have to be taken into the security office and explain to the guards that they were fighting over something so childish? Boy, do I feel sorry for the one woman's tag-a-longs; the older of the two kids was screaming, desperate to make the fight stop, and was crying afterward. Obviously, the woman could care less about people other than herself.

So, yeah... to all of you Starbucks nuts: it's just coffee. Get over it. Hell, you can buy most of it in the grocery store! Oy!

On the bright side, it kept us entertained. XD
